./configure script not honoring the --sysconfdir correctly

Hi there,Hiawatha version: 6.17.1
Operating System: FreeBSD
Just a small problem I've got with Hiawatha compile script
Could it be possible to fix the compile ./configure --sysconfdir to honor the path without the additional /hiawatha directory? I would prefer to have the config files in [PREFIX/etc] and not in [PREFIX/etc/hiawatha]. This is a minor problem, but would be nice for the next version.

Thanks,
Peter

It can be changed by editing configure.ac. I will not change this, because I think having a separate directory keeps it organized.Peter

Hi Hugo,Thanks for your reply.
Having directories like /opt/hiawatha/etc/hiawatha/ does not necessarily make anything more organized though, but surely I can edit that file myself.
Thanks,
Peter
