IPv6 support in the Windows package

Hiawatha is still using cygwin 1.5.x for the windows build, would an upgrade to 1.7.x provide IPv6 support:?:
The 1.7.1 release of Dec'09 provides IPv6 support and many other improvements.

Any chance that this new release also accelerates the windows build?

The Windows package of the next release will indeed be build with Cygwin 1.7. I've tested it, IPv6 support works fine under Windows.
