Hello Hugo,

How can we reload hiawatha configuration without restarting it?

Is there a "service hiawatha reload" function?

That is not possible. A long time ago, Hiawatha had this feature. But it was too complex, so I removed it.

Maybe if you make a script to exec stop & start , and a command alias for it.

Hiawatha already comes with such scripts. They will be used when building a package:

Debian: extra/debian/init.d/hiawatha
Red Hat: extra/redhat/hiawatha
